When designing and building a new church and school complex, the congregation at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, CA, put a high priority on the integration of large screen displays and other a/v multimedia technologies to deliver the ministry’s message. The project managers engaged Hoffman Video to provide both engineering and installation services to accomplish these goals. The facility required rear screen projection that would meet the space restrictions and also provide excellent color and graphics reproduction in a dual screen 16 x 9 format. Christie Digital's S6 series met the challenge and faithfully exceeded the church's display standards for their wide-screen requirements. Utilizing Christie Digital's specialized short-throw lens and custom set-up diagnostics, church media staff confidently present multiple programs every week with the rugged, dependable quality of Christie Digital. Hoffman installed CAT-5 wiring between the control booth area at the rear of the facility and each projector providing excellent signal connectivity. That along with Christie’s detailed on-screen menus allow for perfect color matching on the twin screens. The screen and rear projection design provide stunning images from the first to the last rows and complement the overall dramatic look of the sanctuary area.
